What is overlanding?
Overlanding is a journey by vehicle to explore remote places. The journey is the point of this type of travel and involves multiple days, weeks, or more. The traveler must be self-sufficient with enough food, fuel, and well maintained vehicle. There is no requirement for any type of vehicle. It is not a road trip nor an out and back camping trip although it involves camping and can include road trip type activities such as hotels and restaurants between remote segments.
